A Man is Killed in a Road Rage Incident
On Friday night, a man was slain in downtown Houston in what the police say was a case of road rage that led to the shooting. Things came to a head on IH-45 northbound near San Jacinto Street at around 10 p.m. The victim had an altercation with the suspect. Officers arrived on the scene to discover a guy who had been shot and was sitting in a red Ford F-150 pickup vehicle. At the location of the incident, his death was proclaimed. Based on the witness's account to the investigators, they have said that they consider the shooting to have resulted from some quarrel. A witness stayed behind and described the vehicle that the person of interest at this point was operating. The authorities are now hunting for other witnesses and have not provided a description of a probable suspect at this time. Read more.
